Making Your Bathroom Clean and Healthy With House Cleaning

Completing the house cleaning is an interesting activity. Although many people say that they “hate” tidying and cleaning their homes, there are others who find it strangely satisfying. Probably everyone would admit that they prefer being in a clean house than a dirty one, whether or not they enjoy the necessary process of getting it spotless.

One part of house cleaning that can be very elusive in its simplicity is the art of cleansing the bathroom. In fact, washing the bath and shower have become so overwhelmingly disliked that a plethora of products have been released that claim to do the majority of the effort on your behalf. Nevertheless, the only way to get your bath to really sparkle is by doing it yourself. Luckily there are some helpful tips that can make this area of the house just a little bit less of a pain.

Before you begin to clean the bathroom, you should choose a suitable type of cleaning product. You may want to use one that is specifically marketed for cleaning soap scum, hard water and lime scale from the bathtub. If you are interested in finding something more universal, you may want to mix liquid dish soap with warm water in an empty spray bottle. Another idea is to use a mixture of bleach and water. If you decide to use bleach, only use about one quarter of a cup of bleach to one gallon of water and be very careful not to mix ammonia and bleach together.

After gathering cleaning products, washcloths and sponges, remove all of your shampoos, conditioners and body washes. Spray the bathtub thoroughly with your liquid product of choice and let it sit for five or ten minutes. Once the soap begins to bond to grime and buildup in the bathtub it will be much easier to wash away. Use a sponge to lightly scrub the worst areas and allow it all to soak a little longer. When you begin to do your heavy scrubbing and rinsing, the dirt should come off fairly easy.

If there are still some soiled areas on the bathtub it is time to use the abrasive substances. Common baking soda can also be helpful for this type of house cleaning. Mix the baking soda with water to create a paste and apply it to problem areas on the bath. Let the paste work its magic for a few minutes and simply wipe it away with a sponge before rinsing.

If you are still reluctant or too busy to carry out a good scrub of the bathroom then you could give the task to a cleaning company that can provide regular house cleaning. They have hard-working and reliable house cleaners who can bring out the very best results; making your bathroom, and indeed the rest of your house, sparkle from top to bottom by using environmentally friendly cleaning materials and a wealth of knowledge and skill necessary to complete the task as quickly as possible.
